Let me start by saying hello, i have been installing flooring for over 20 yrs. This is not my full time job anymore but i really do enjoy doing it. I don't charge as much as the big named stores so its saves you a little money and i make a little money or we barter for things, either way, we both come out just a little bit a head. That is what we are both looking for in the long run anyway right?

I don't have a carpet van anymore. This means i can't get the carpet to you. I am going to get another van again if i get into it more, but right now i just do it on the side. So if you or someone you know has a truck or some way of getting the carpet or vinyl flooring to your house i will do a very professional installation for less than the big name stores. I have all the tools and knowledge as them but for much less. I also do repair work---repair seams, re-stretches, stair repairs, etc. I have done boats, patios, lofts, garages, you name it.

I charge by the yard. This is 9 square feet. For example: If you have a room that is 10ft x 12ft, this would be 13.33 yards. I charge $4.50 a yard, so that room would be $60.00 to install. If you have any questions about that i will gladly explain it farther but you can get a ball park figure on how that works. Repair jobs are $65.00 unless they are really extensive, but i haven't seen many that bad. Stairs are $125.00 by them selves just because there is usually a lot of work that goes into them to do a good job!

Well i think i covered as much as i can over the computer, so i guess this is where i tell you that i am interested in a barter for my services, i am looking for just about anything, don't be afraid to offer a barter, i recently moved here from Michigan (hence the job thing) and lost a lot of things do to the move. Could use furniture, riding lawnmower, electronics, exercise equipment, laptop, hell i could use a carpet van or a good car or small pick-up.
Anyways barters are good and always happy with cash!

I am looking for someone to help me putting up X-Mas lights on our house.

We own a walk-out basement style townhouse and I would love to have icicle lights on every architectural detail this year, which includes around the gutters and gable. The thing is, I do not own a ladder tall enough to get all the way up in the backyard and the gable in front ( you are talking 3 stories at that point).
If you are a roofer or someone of that kind, used to working in heights and have a ladder tall enough, I have the rest... lights, extensioncords, clips, extensionspoles and all. Everything brandnew or stored neatly, so no hassle untangling lights.
I am looking for someone to put them up latest thanksgiving weekend, maybe even one week earlier.

In return, I am offering my professional services. I am a licensed stylist, specialized in coloring and cutting techniques. I was trained in Europe and gained experience in Germany, France and the US.

I will provide 2 cut and color combinations for people of your choice. (It can be the same person twice or two people once each). I will provide both serviices an friday afternoons or saturdays by appointment only and I will not distinguish between a regular color or highlights. I will use professional products only and the services will be rendered in my in-home salon (due to a baby, I am not working in the upscale salon anymore that I used to work in, family comes first ;-) ).

As putting up lights was quoted $300- $400 by professional roofing companies and the price for one cut and color service with me usually ran $150 and up, I think this is a fair deal.

Also, this is a dual offer ( those lights need to come down eventually in January), I will offer the same package upon removal.

I have an unfinished pine TV stand/stereo cabinet with smoked tempered glass doors and a two-piece pine hutch that I'll exchange for someone grinding a stump in my yard.

The stump is already flush to the ground. The guy who cut the tree down didn't finish the job. It needs to go to about 3 inches below the surface so I can get grass to grow over it.

The pine hutch comes with a new quart of black paint.

I am willing to do this for a piece of property as small as � of an acre up to
3 acres with access to the lot depending on how much work you want to have
