Entertainment company seeking a Senior Accountant Position Description:
We are looking for an Accounting Manager for our financial reporting group. We are responsible for consolidating individual reporting packages on a quarterly basis from subsidiaries. The group provides financial reporting and analyses to Senior Management, and fulfills public reporting requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
•Prepare monthly financial reports for operations managers and
•Prepare and enter all related/adjusting journal entries
• Review the financial statements and supporting schedules reported by subsidiaries
• Process GAAP adjusting entries and elimination entries in the consolidation process
• Prepare various Financial Analysis in connection with Financial Reporting
• Involved in variance analytics in balance sheet and income statement accounts analysis
• Prepare audit packages pertaining to consolidated financial statements and footnotes


Qualifications:
• Four-year bachelor’s degree
• CPA preferred
• Four years of diversified accounting experience in CPA firm preferred.
• An aditional 2 years experience in private accouting preferred
• Excellent communication skills

• Location: Washington, DC
• Compensation: 65,000 to 75,000
