Rapidly growing Parking Company in downtown Washington D.C. area is seeking a motivated Field Auditor for our Risk Management Department.
As a Field Auditor, your primary job responsibilities will include:
The selected candidate will report directly to the Auditing & Claims Manager. Support and assist the Operations & Finance Department to control and manage revenue and ticket accountability, tracking, and verification for a 365 day per year commercial mixed use parking company by performing independent and coordinated unannounced field audits of parking garages. Efficiently, effectively, and consistently review, reconcile, and account for all revenue, revenue control processes, tickets, vehicle activity counts, and monthly permits, and reports for each assigned inspection. Submit detailed accurate reports on each inspection. Maintain an unbroken level of quality control on the tracking, accounting, and reporting of revenue in all reports. Perform all assigned duties with uncompromising standards of integrity, honesty, and cooperative and friendly communications. Understand the company’s vision for the financial control and operation of a state of the art commercial parking company, and implement the same through the effective, fair, and respectful performance of assigned duties. Understand, accept, and consistently meet his / her fiduciary responsibility to employees, property management firms, and all external customers.
As a Field Auditor, your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
• Audit and report on daily revenue activity by site.
• Reconcile daily revenue income with ticket sales, traffic activity, and numbers of vehicles parked in the facility.
• Audit daily reconciliation reports prepared by site staff.
• Complete site condition report by date/time.
• Complete personnel inspection report by name / date / time (Uniform, communications, and grooming).
• Complete site safety condition report (OSHA, ADA, HAZMAT)
• Complete equipment condition / test report by date / time / site.
• Complete site supplies and equipment status.
• Complete evaluation report on lighting.
• Complete evaluation report on “user friendly signage”.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualified candidate should possess the following:
• Valid driver’s license w/ clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• 1-3 years of Auditing/Parking Experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of Parking Industry is a plus
• Dependability & Reliability is a must
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screening
• Ability to work flexible schedule

Ability to manage revenue control from an insightful perspective. The ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize financial results from workflow performed on a shift by shift / facility-by-facility, day-by-day basis. The ability to identify problem areas and immediately report recommended solutions in writing. The ability to resolve negative situations through calm, deliberate, and mature control. The ability to know when to resource help from a higher level. The ability to identify small problems and take immediate decisive action before they become major problems. The ability to identify a potential theft problem and take immediate, decisive, corrective action.
