The American Road & Transportation Builders Association is looking for an intern to support our communications team and our Bridge Policy and Promotion Council (“BPPC”).
Duties would include drafting email, organizing and facilitating large mailings, participating in committee conference calls, updating website content, press release and member relations communications items, managing project files and creating/managing Excel databases, and preparing written correspondence and minutes. The candidate should be detailed oriented, have a strong interest in association work and excellent organizational skills. We’re also hoping that this person can cover, as a small part of their overall work, general front desk duties to fill-in for our receptionist during breaks. Interns typically work 20-40 hours per week.
