On Wednesday, May 21, First Class Inc. will offer a six-week online class entitled "Intro to PC Troubleshooting." Lessons are released on Wednesday and Friday, but you can access them at any time. Are you ready to dive under the hood of your PC? Introduction to PC Troubleshooting takes you step by step through the typical hardware and operating system problems encountered by technicians, and teaches you troubleshooting techniques to decipher any problem and gives you the skills you need to solve them. Once you've mastered the basics, the course launches into some of the more advanced and nasty problems that sometimes crop up in the PC, teaching you how to diagnose and fix those problems. Finally, this course will show you how to maintain and optimize a Windows PC. So what are you waiting for? Let's troubleshoot - and fix - some PCs!
Scott Jernigan feels as much at home in the musty archives of London as he does in the warm glow of a computer monitor. Scott teaches A+ Certification and PC hardware classes around the country, including several stints at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA, Lucent Technologies in Baltimore, MD, and the United Nations in New York City. Scott has also edited numerous computer books, including the best-selling "All in One A+ Certification Exam Guide" and the "Network+ Certification Exam Guide" from McGraw-Hill. Practicing what he teaches, Scott is an A+ and Network+ Certified Technician.
Important: The online courses are 6 weeks long and two lessons are released per week (on Wednesday and Friday). You do not need to be present when the lessons are released. The online courses require a strong commitment from each student as they are designed to pick up where our two hour seminars leave off. Once you enroll, you will be sent an E-mail on how to select a username and password for your online class.
