Beginning Wednesday, May 21, First Class Inc. will offer a six-week online class entitled "Music Made Easy." The lessons are released on Wednesday and Friday, but can be accessed at any time. All 12 lessons are $99. You can enroll by calling 202-797-5102 or on our secure website at http://www.takeaclass.org.
You'll gain a complete understanding of rhythm, melody, and harmony, and you'll be able to recognize pitches on the musical staff and on the keyboard. You'll also be able to build intervals, major scales, and chords. By the time you complete this comprehensive and full-featured course, you'll be able to read, write, and even play simple musical pieces on a keyboard.
Marianne Murawski earned her Ph.D. in Music Theory from the University of Maryland, her M.M (master of music) in Music Theory, and her B.A. in Music.
Important: The online courses are 6 weeks long and two lessons are released per week (on Wednesday and Friday). You do not need to be present when the lessons are released. Once you enroll, you will be sent an E-mail on how to select a username and password for your online class.
