FreeLance Graphic Designer w/ 3D Motion Experience

Around $40 to $45/hr

Major Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

· Translating verbal ideas into high quality, creative visual representations and animations that capture both the information and the emotion of a project.

· Staying on schedule

· Creating multiple graphic elements for courses

· Working with Producer to create course look and feel

· Maps

· Motion graphics

· Graphic introductions

· Animations

· Creative representations

· Technical diagrams

· Image restoration and touch up

· Be a good communicator and able to take direction well

· Maintain a close working relationship with their producer and editor

· Be able to work in a fast-paced production team environment and be able to come up with creative solutions to challenges

Ideal Experience

The ideal candidate for the Freelance Graphic Artist position will have:

· BA or MFA in Graphic or Motion Design or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on-experience.

· Advanced Photoshop, Motion or Aftereffects experience

· HD Graphics Experience is required.

· Experience with Maya3D

· Knowledge of the following a definite plus: editing experience, Adobe Illustrator and Curious World Maps

· Strong team player

· Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

· Excellent attention to detail

· Proven ability to work within a set schedule and time constraints without sacrificing creativity and quality of final product

· Ability to give advice and take direction

· Experience in a video production environment required
