Network Technician Level 1 (1-3 Years)
Complete Description:
Provides operations support for the installation and maintenance of IP, VOIP, SONET networks, ISP and OSP fiber optic networks as well as HVAC, UPS and environmental control systems. Candidate must have an available vehicle and tools.

Required/Desired Skills
Expert knowledge of RJ-45, 110, 66-block terminations and testing. Required: 3 Years, Expert
Expert knowledge of T1 termination and testing. Required: 3 Years, Expert
Basic knowledge of fiber splicing and testing. Desired: 1 Years, Basic
Knowledgeable of SONET, IP, VOIP, and TDM equipment. Desired: 1 Years, Basic
Expert knowledge and ability to install and maintain commercial UPS. Required: 3 Years, Expert
Expert knowledge and ability to install and maintain Telecom equipment. Required: 3 Years, Expert
Knowledge and ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook. Required: 3 Years, Proficient
Knowledgeable in building MDF, CPE, and building riser systems. Required: 3 Years, Expert
Knowledgeable in installation of cabinets, and relay racks. Required: 3 Years, Expert
Possess working knowledge of both AC and -48 DC power. Required: 3 Years, Expert
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Required
Must have an available vehicle and tools.
