Job Description:
The Customer Service/Installer position will be part-time. You will be responsible for providing your own vehicle that is acceptable. The majority of your assignments will consist of day work as your primary area of responsibility will be within 150 miles of your home (DC). There will be situations in which overnight travel will be required as you will be expected to travel outside of the 150 mile limit.

The job will consist of traveling to early childhood classrooms and doing some or all of the following:

1. Installing classrooms. Unloading, unpacking, assembling and arranging classroom furnishings.
2. Installing computers. Unloading, unpacking and assembling computers and its related furniture and equipment.
3. Installing computer networks. Dropping network cable, setting up computers and configuring networks.
4. Installing Smart Boards.
5. Training: Classroom computer and software training.

You will receive your assignments from your Supervisor who is located in North Carolina. You will be given 24 to 72 hour advance notice of your work assignment.

You will be expected to maintain a work schedule and update customer information using a computer that you will need to provide.

You should anticipate a minimum of 10 hours of work per month. Depending upon the season and the amount of activity within your territory, your workload will increase dramatically and you should expect to have weeks in which you work 40 hours or more. Overtime will be paid when earned.

The successful candidate should expect to spend two weeks in North Carolina during training at the company headquarters. All expenses will be paid by the company and you will earn $250 per week during your training.


Qualifications:

1. Excellent verbal communication skills.

2. Working knowledge of computers.

3. A good work ethic.

4. An ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

5. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

6. A clean criminal record.

7. A lifestyle that provides the flexibility to work with a schedule that changes frequently and dramatically. Also, overnight travel must also work with your situation.

8. College degree not mandatory but preferred.

9. Owning an automobile that is acceptable to Hatch.

Compensation:

-$15/ hour while traveling to and from the jobsite.

-$25/hour while actually performing job assignments.

-$104 per diem for days that overnight stays are required.

- $.34 per mile for car allowance; includes gasoline.
