5/22-5/23: Harmony fund raiser to benefit disabled children - $20 OPEN BAR (Rhino Bar & Pumphouse - 3295 M St. )

Dear Friends of Harmony Through Education,
We wish to inform you of our upcoming fund raiser at Rhino Bar in Georgetown on Thursday, May 22nd from 9pm-12am. The fund raiser will be held on the second floor. Admission will be $20, which allows you to take advantage of the OPEN BAR! All of the proceeds will go towards funding our school for disabled children in Dharamsala, India.
We plan to have a date auction as well! For those of you who wish to participate, please email us at info@harmonythrougheducation.org. We are currently seeking gift certificates from local restaurants to auction off as well (i.e. dinner for two at Alero's). Should you wish to participate, we will need a picture of you, and a couple sentences describing yourself (i.e. what you like to do, where you work, and/or what grad program you are in, etc.).
This is a great opportunity to support the kids at our school in India. For only $50 you can sponsor one of the kids at our school for a month. This includes providing transportation to and from school, a meal and a half per day, instruction from our special ed teachers, programs to work with the parents of our kids to teach them about their child’s abilities and difficulties, as well as providing resources and adequate facilities (i.e. computers, playground, etc.). Keep in mind that our school closes for less than a month for the entire year.
We encourage single or non single individuals to participate. The date can be a friendly engagement to benefit Harmony! We encourage you to spread the word and tell your friends.
