Ideal candidate must be able to work 20 hours per week on average.
Duties include: Detailed physical processing of print items. Shelf reading and maintenance. Supplemented with other duties as necessary, including, but not limited to shifting of print items, shelving, shelf reading and maintenance, photocopying, light typing, data entry, scanning, assisting library technical staff.
Required:
Ability to understand and work with Library of Congress classification systems and other federal library procedures. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work in detailed fashion and create detailed reports. Ability to lift and carry up to forty pounds at level of five feet without assistance. Ability to work individually with limited supervision in a team environment. Must be a US Citizen.
