Sales Account Executive (Maryland, DC, Northern VA)

Compound Profit Advisors is looking for Account Executives to help promote our Business Working Capital Funding and Equipment Lease Financing.

• Outside Sales (Commission based)

As an Account Executive you will contact companies who offer equipment that is preapproved for our equipment lease financing. You will explain the benefits of having this financing option available.

For example: Vendors who offer financing to their customers for the lease/purchase of the equipment see a dramatic increase in sales.

Once you have set up the relationship between the Vendor and C-Profit Corp. you will receive a residual commission on all equipment C-Profit Corp. finances for that Vendor. (Please review the Account Executive Agreement for details on residuals)

Here is an example of how Pronto Lease commissions are calculated at the 4% commission scale:

• 2 Vendors doing $20,000 (total $40K) in equipment leases through us = $1,600.00 residual*
• Increase that to 4 Vendors (total $80K) = $3,200.00 residual*
• Increase that to 8 Vendors (total $160K) = $6,400.00 residual*
• Increase that to 10 Vendors (total $200K) = $8,000.00 residual*

We do not limit the number of Vendors you setup with us. Once you have the Vendor setup we do most of the work directly with the Vendor so your time is free to look for additional Vendors.

Other earning opportunities are 7.5% of all fees collected for our Business Financing/Factoring products, and 10% of any Digital Marketing services you sell.

Visit our website for more information http://www.cprofit.com

* Residual commissions are based on the equipment price that we fund on each month with a particular Vendor. The volumes displayed are for example purposes illustrating how commissions are calculated. The actual volume a Vendor will process through us will vary. Please review the sliding scale for commissions in the Vendor Developer Agreement for more details.

Saturday Math Instructors Needed (Northeast DC)

Resources for Inner city CHildren (RICH) and the Cesar Chavez High School-Parkside campus are looking for Math teachers to help support their collaborative Saturday Math Academy (SMA). Classes will be very small (average 3-5 students/teacher) and designed to help students catch up with their peers. Ninth and tenth graders who have not passed their first quarter exam in Algebra I or Geometry will need to come to school on three consecutive Saturdays in December to relearn the skills necessary and attempt to pass a similar exam.

The Parkside SMA is designed after the highly successful Saturday Math Academy at Chavez's Capitol Hill campus, which resulted in twice as many tenth graders at the school scoring at grade level or better on the 2009 District of Columbia Comprehensive Assessment System (DC-CAS) math exam as the previous year's tenth graders. This will be the very first SMA at Parkside. Help be part of the growing tradition of the success of the Saturday Academies at Chavez!

Teachers will be expected to be in school from 8:45-12:15 on Saturday December 5th and 12th. Teachers will also be expected to write a report on how each student fared with the material. Pay will be $40/hour, or $140/Saturday. Candidates need to have at least 10 years of math teaching experience. Please send a resume and cover letter addressed to Paul Penniman at chavezparksidecoordinator@gmail.com. Please make sure that your cover letter is specific to the position.

Candidates who make it past the initial screening will be invited to participate in an interview on Thursday, November 19th between 4:00 and 6:30 pm or by appointment.

Award-winning DC tech PR firm seeks Senior Account Executive

Senior Account Executive -- LEWIS PR

Want to get into the PR fast lane?

Ever worked for one of those companies where you check your watch every five minutes, willing it to say “time to go home”? Where happy hour is always hours away? Where making instant coffee is often the highlight of the day?

Yeah, we’re not one of those companies. Work with us, and the average day might find you pitching the world’s best reporters on a super stealth start-up, building a Facebook page, dreaming up a new brand tagline, and handling a breaking crisis. All before lunch.

LEWIS is a global boutique tech PR firm, meaning we offer our clients global scale with plenty of personal attention. In our DC office, we represent leaders in the worlds of both consumer and B2B tech. We’ve launched many of these to the public, and work tirelessly to keep them front of mind with their key audiences, through a variety of channels, including social media.

Unlike some other firms though, we don’t view social media as a separate entity. We firmly believe it has to be integrated into a strategic communications campaign, that has compelling content, and smart people, at its core. So, we hire smart people and get them to create great content that can be spread virally through both traditional channels (like press) and emerging channels (like Twitter), to reach the right people at the right time in the right way.

Of course, that starts with being obsessively, compulsively in love with great content, and consuming it any chance you get. Blogs, TV, print, online, viral, radio, semaphore – we want you to be voracious in your media appetite.

We work and play hard, because we love what we do. Want to get on board? Read on.

What we can offer you:

The Senior Account Executive role at LEWIS is a role that rewards a proactive nature, enthusiasm and drive. Your professional skills will be enhanced every day you spend at the company, and you’ll be working with a team that has your back. Every time.

You will play a key and visible role in the execution of integrated PR programs for a range of B2B and consumer tech clients at LEWIS. You will primarily be focused on proactive engagement and relationship building with media, bloggers and social media influencers, leading to positive awareness and coverage for each client.

Want to learn how to translate all that media goodness into measurable results? By working with us, you’ll get a deep insight into how PR and social media can deliver tangible ROI, using sophisticated tools to monitor and measure results, awareness levels and where the key influencers are.

If you can talk your way out of a parking ticket while explaining how the meter works, you’re just what we’re looking for. Add in killer writing skills and the ability to manage both clients and a close team, and we’d like you to press the button where it says ‘apply’.

What you can offer us:

You’re bright, personable and technology-savvy, with a passion for both traditional and social media, and a broad range of experience and interests. You will need a bachelor's degree in a related field with an above average GPA and have excellent multi-tasking/organizational skills. Usage and an avid interest in social media channels will also help get you through the door.

We’d love you to have three to five years of relevant technology public relations experience, and hope you will be articulate, detail-oriented, creative, energetic and ambitious. Oh, and a strong sense of humor is key. Please.

Salary & benefits (otherwise known as the good stuff):

We reward people who reward us. It’s that simple. Salaries are highly competitive, and the benefits are generous. Highlights include:

* 100% paid health
* Vision and dental insurance
* 401K plan
* 17 paid vacation days
* 11 public holidays
* 2 personal development days
* Company-owned iPhone
* Potential for international travel
