Full Time Assistant Project Manager for Housekeeping Dept
(14th Street SW, District of Columbia)
Work Hours: 7:00 am- 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday (30 min. lunch break).
May be required to work some weekends & Holidays to Supervise special projects.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to pass a government security background check
• Must be a legal to work in a federal facility, either permanent resident or Citizen
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English
• Able to Speak Spanish would be an asset
• Need to have a minimum of three years experience in a Custodial Supervisory Management position
• Knowledgeable of cleaning equipment, repair & maintenance
• Must have at least two years of customer service experience
• Must have exceptional communication skills, we are looking for a positive, upbeat individual who can deliver job performance
• Able to use and operate telephone and radio equipment effectively
• Must be able to give instructions and directions to team members ensuring a smooth operation to the assigned project according to the contract
• Must have excellent character, strong personal values, professional attributes, able to work well with people, be exceptionally organized, willing to learn and grow professionally with a clear desire to make a positive difference and contribution
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs without restrictions
• Must be able to physically ascend and descend ladders
Education, Certifications
• High School Certificate or Diploma
• Knowledge of proper handling of hazardous materials and OSHA guidelines would be an asset
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Must be able to perform some daily cleaning duties

• Assist the Project Manager with Quality Control Inspections
• Overseeing and assisting team member the performance of table and chair set ups for various meeting rooms and the planning and scheduling as needed
• Assist with Supervising and coordinating activities with contractors engaged in custodial related services as needed
• Oversee the supervision of team members, which may include work allocation, training, and occasional problem resolution; evaluating performance and making recommendations, motivating team members to achieve peak productivity and performance.
