• Intellectual Property Patent Associates – Three to six years of patent prosecution experience required. Candidates must have strong law school grades, top-notch firm experience, and a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science. These positions offer opportunities for associates to diversify the scope of their practices to include patent litigation and IP transactional work, so some experience in those areas would give you an advantage over other candidates. There are also opportunities to develop your leadership, management and client development skills within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
• Patent Agent – Must have a Mechanical Engineering degree and be a member of the patent bar. PTO experience is preferred.
