Consultant Media Research Analysts – Night shift
Position Overview
Hill & Knowlton, one of the world’s largest public relations and public affairs networks, is seeking Media Research Analysts for a high profile client. The work hours are from 10:15 pm EST – to 4:15 am EST, Sunday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
On a daily basis, the Media Research Analysts will monitor and research media from available sources, such as newspapers, television, radio, online news, and blogs. The Analysts will then prepare a daily media monitoring brief compilation, to be sent to H&K editors by 4:15 am EST.
Required Qualifications
Please review the following as only those candidates that meet these qualifications will be contacted. The ideal candidate (s) shall have the following:
- Two to four years of verifiable experience in media analysis, communications, international affairs, market research, or related areas**This experience can be a combination of education and work experience**
-The ability to read and identify relevant articles based on a set of pre-determined criteria
-The ability to be trained and develop proficiency in the proprietary software available
- Knowledge and understanding of current political affairs/defense-related topics
- The ability to work under tight deadline pressure
- B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited university or college
This is a telecommuting position, with occasional meetings on site at H&K office in Washington, DC.
This is a contract position through January 31, 2010, with the possibility for work beyond this.
