Do you play World of Warcraft? Are you outgoing, determined and love contacting the media, getting great placements, and making word of mouth happen? Do you love to write and communicate well with others about online video games? Then you're the person for us. We are Yeh! for Games, Inc., (http://www.yehforgames.com) - a U.S. based company providing services within the virtual gaming world (MMO's) such as World of Warcraft and are looking for someone to work on our public relations with media relations, digging up contacts and pitching great stories for national clients in the gaming industry. We need someone with a focus on PR/marketing who can commit to a minimum of 10-15 hours a week.

Responsibilities –

• Writing and distributing Press Releases
• Maintaining and growing a database of media contacts at the local and national levels
• Developing and nurturing relationships with print and online editors and writers
• Pitching stories, securing media coverage and placing op-eds and other pieces
• Staying on top of critical related gaming updates/news and developments and implementing an effective rapid response strategy to our services we offer
• Proactively searching out opportunities for interviews and speaking engagements
• Poster and brochure placement in areas where potential customers visit

Qualifications and requirements:
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience, including a minimum of 1 year at an agency
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Outstanding writing and editing skills—and a thorough understanding of what various media channels are looking for
• Technical savvy; fluency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Attention to detail

This is a part-time, contract position that will likely evolve into full-time. Telecommuting is a must.
