Delucchi +, an innovative, full-service, strategic marketing firm located in Washington, D.C., is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude to join our fast paced creative studio.
The Lead Designer is responsible for the formulation of integrated campaign concepts, presentation approaches and basic design layouts. Must be able to confer with copywriters, freelancers and department heads to discuss client requirements, design concepts and timelines. Must also coordinate with production and digital positions within the creative department.
Both web and print design skills are required for this position. Must be highly versed in InDesign, Dreamweaver and the entire Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator are crucial). 3-5 years of design experience required and experience in an agency required.
Duties include:
• Concepting and laying out new creative for print, web and interactive media applications
• Acting as brand ambassador for all clients and campaigns
• Giving design direction to Production Artist and collaborating with Web Designer on integrated campaigns
• Providing direction to freelance designers and copywriters as needed
• Organizing and participating in comping of materials for large presentations
• Performing layout edits and revisions as needed
