Award-Winning, National Event-Production & Staging Company based in Rockville is seeking a smart, creative, and motivated intern to assist with MS Outlook data entry, basic office management tasks (running errands to the post office, bank, etc.), helping prepare for upcoming gigs, answering phones, taking messages, filing, organizing and much more. This is a great opportunity to gain experience by learning from some of the best in the industry and network with many well known events professionals throughout the country. Approximately 10 hours per week - hours and schedules are extremely flexible. This is a $10/hr. paid internship that will help if students need to use this time towards college credits. This is not all scutt work and no play - there will be plenty of opportunities to work on fun, creative projects.
Necessary Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
1) Good communication skills (written and verbal).
2) Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Office, etc.
3) Strong organization and time management skills.
4) Ability to work independently or with a team.
5) Positive attitude and plenty of hustle
6) Poised phone voice
7) Budding sales skills
