The East River Family Strengthening Collaborative, a non-profit organization aimed at empowering youth, families, seniors and communities in Ward 7, is currently seeking a full time Job Developer to join our New Communities team. The Job Developer is responsible for coaching, supporting and monitoring job search participants in the identification of job opportunities and the initial stages of employment. The position will require strong liaising with employers and the employment community to identify job leads as well as enthusiastic marketing/outreach activities to community agencies and organizations.
We are looking for someone who has experience assessing, supporting and successfully placing job seekers through the development and maintenance of a solid network of employers and agencies. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 5-7 years experience in a similar capacity (workforce development, career counseling, recruitment). East River Family Strengthening Collaborative offers excellent benefits; salary to commensurate with experience (range $45-50K).
