The Coalition for Government Procurement, a non-profit association of federal contractors representing the top 70% of companies that sell to the federal government, including IT, furniture, healthcare, and homeland security is seeking a Manager of Policy.
Responsibilities include
• Manage all Coalition standing committees. This includes establishing meeting dates, locations and agendas with relevant staff and committee chairs, writing or supervising the writing of all committee minutes, and coordinating the participation of periodic guests.
• Assist the Executive Vice President in communicating Coalition concerns and positions on policy matters to Executive and Legislative branch officials, including writing comments on proposed and interim rules, Coalition testimony, and policy papers.
• Represent the association at government and industry meetings.
• Responding to member policy questions.
• Other duties relevant to association policy activities, exclusive of business development or press contact.
