Program: Leland House
Position: Case Manager
Function: Provide in-house Case Management and Counseling Services to adults living with chronic mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse. Facilitate groups and coordinate services for program participants.
Qualifications: Must hold current addiction certification (RAC or CAC) or eligibility to receive it. Experience working with clients with mental health and substance abuse concerns. Experience with group facilitation preferred. Knowledge of homeless and dual diagnosis desired.
Skills / Abilities: Experience in devising and facilitating goal and service planning. Must be able to facilitate individual and group counseling. Must possess a working knowledge of 12-Step philosophy. Must possess a valid driver’s licensed with a good driving record. Minimum of two years sobriety if recovering from chemical dependency/addiction. Must be able to climb stairs and lift and carry 25 pounds. Must possess excellent organization and communications skills. Must know how to set appropriate boundaries with clients and have knowledge of resources to make appropriate referrals for necessary services. In addition, candidate must have the ability to juggle many tasks.
