Development/Database Coordinator

Position Responsibilities
• Maintain the quality and accuracy of the donor database
• Process all gifts, and maintain accurate records for donation and contact information
• Prepare fiscal year audit reports for Director of Development
• Draft and distribute personalized gift acknowledgments, pledge reminders, and proposals
• Assist in developing donor newsletters, and other materials to promote and educate donors and potential donors on efforts of the organization
• Maintain event attendee list and manage the RSVPs, ensure that the list is up-to-date and accurate
• Conduct prospect research for potential donors and other funding opportunities
• Screen and respond to all calls and inquiries
• Maintain schedules and perform day to day office duties
• Assist with additional development tasks as required

Qualifications
• Must be able to begin immediately
• Raiser’s Edge, Donor Perfect, iMIS or related donor database experience required
• College degree and 1+ years related experience (Internship/Volunteer experience acceptable)
• Proficiency with MS Office (including advanced functions)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and under pressure
• Ability to work creatively and effectively as a member of a team
