Potomac Elevator Company has an immediate need for a full-time office administrator with responsibilities for providing general administrative support to the President and office staff. This includes preparing and processing routine correspondence, reports, and documents; scheduling; payroll preparation; data entry; expense and basic invoice tracking/reconciliation; filing; document maintenance; and, general phone and customer service activities. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and demonstrated coursework toward an associates or bachelors degree or equivalent experience, along with three years of related work experience, preferably with a commercial construction business. Also required are a demonstrated knowledge of general office operations, including proficient computer (WORD, Excel) and data entry skills; strong interpersonal skills; the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities; effective communication skills, both written and oral; and, organization, time management, and basic math skills, as well as an attention-to-detail.
