A comfortable, clean and relaxed Book Store is Oxon Hill, Maryland is seeking a PART-TIME, friendly and responsible sales associate. Before you respond, PLEASE read our requirements FULLY. ONLY those who meet ALL of our requirements will be considered.
1. Must be available Monday through Saturday for fifteen to twenty hours a week.
2. Sundays may be required soon.
3. Must be available between the hours of 10:00am and 8:00pm with a hour lapse for breaks in between.
4. Must be computer literate.
5. Must be organized.
6. Must be willing to call existing customer base to solicit business and MUST be able to generate and close sales .
7. Must be willing to seek authors to sign within our store during available slots.
8. Must be familiar with Myspace.
9. Must have excellent telephone skills.
10. Must be willing to do light cleaning as well as lifting boxes up to 40 pounds.
11. Must be willing to work with all individuals and MUST BE VERY PROFESSIONAL & FRIENDLY. If you're RUDE don't apply you'll be fired immediately anyway!
12. Must be VERY punctual!
Cashiers are paid 7.25 an hour and will be paid weekly. If you are interested, please respond with your resume. Full time hours may be available very soon. And raises are given twice in a year's timeframe and they are based on performance. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
