I have a 3 bedroom townhouse in the heart of Washington, DC and am in search of a roommate.
About the room & house
The townhouse is located in Truxton Circle (http://www.truxtoncircle.org). The address is 82 Q St. NW. It is a nice sized room (11’ X 9.5’) with a large closet and its own private bathroom. The room is at the other end of the house so you will have a considerable amount of privacy.
You will have unlimited access to a very clean kitchen, a dining room and a living room with at 42” plasma television, CD/DVD and audio system with surround sound. There is also a large enclosed patio behind the house with a gazebo, lawn furniture and bar-b-q grill (great for cookouts & entertaining). There is ample street parking in the area as well.
The house is within walking distance of two Metro stations. The NY/Florida Ave. station on the Red Line is 5 blocks away and Shaw/Howard U. station on the Green Line is 9 blocks away. A Giant grocery store is 7 blocks away.
I would like $850 / month, which includes all utilities, DirecTV service in the room and high speed wireless Internet service.
The room will be available June 15th. I currently have a friend staying with me that is moving to Florida.
