TCG is an award-winning, CMMI-appraised, e-Government and e-Business solutions provider. We currently have an immediate opening for a Senior C# .NET Developer located in metropolitan DC for a full time, on site project with a major Federal agency.
Requirements
Mandatory:
- US Citizenship and the ability able to pass an 85-P Trusted Person background check
- Must be able to work full time on-site with core hours of 9:30 to 4:30 Mon-Fri in downtown Washington, DC
- Senior-level understanding of C#
- Familiar with Visual Studio 2003, 2005, 2008
- Accustomed to working on systems in both ASP.NET and Windows Forms
- Very familiar with using and breaking down complex SQL queries. Experience with SQL Server highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of object-oriented design principles
- Good knowledge of database design
- Experience with the entire software development lifecycle and development practices, especially with RUP and RUP-like processes
- Candidate must be willing to write project documentation and conduct or participate in meetings with the client on a regular basis
- Legacy work will be required in VB, classic ASP, Crystal Reports and similar systems
- Experience with Microsoft-centric tools, such as Visual Studio, Visual Basic, SQL Server, IIS, SharePoint, etc.
Minimum Experience Levels:
- 5+ years experience in software development- should be the entire development lifecycle
- 3+ years C#
- 3-5 years .NET (any version)
- 3+ years ASP.NET
- 1-3+ years non-web-based development
- 5+ year SQL (SQL Server preferred)
Communication
- Demonstrate excellent grammar and spelling in all written communication.
- Speak well and clearly.
Personal Skills
- Demonstrate an ability to learn and contribute quickly to project requirements.
- Demonstrate an ability to prioritize and organize efforts in a fast-paced environment.
- Independent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity and a customer service-orientated personality
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or significant experience in a related discipline.
Salary
- $88,000 - $95,00, plus benefits .
