The People This is a large, loving family. Husband (Andy - musician and designer), Wife (Michelle - writer and film maker) 2 grown children son, (Aaron - Culinary Chef) and daughter (Whitney with our 2 grand children ages 5 and 3) + three younger children ages 15, 10 and 1. We are a homeschooling family and therefore have the freedom to travel extensively with our family, allowing them to learn on the go. Andy and Michelle can work anywhere there is an internet connection! They always travel with their youngest children and occassionally travel with their grown children and grand children along as well. But normally we'd be just the 6 of us. (Andy, Michelle and their 3 children along with a nanny or one of the older siblings) Our family is clean and tidy with a great respect for other people's property as we wish those who exchange with us to have the same respect for ours. We have a small dog (a pug) Sheila, who stays to guard the house while we travel and is very low maintainence requiring only some food and lots of scratches behind her ears, in return she'll love on you and let you know if any wild life strays too close to the yard. Walk to the National Mall, metro to the airport, and take the Circulator to Georgetown! I regularly ride my bike down to the Jefferson Monument and the other monuments are a longer walk.

Our Apartment:
One, small room has a full-sized bed, the other we use as an office. We live in a managed apartment building with an exercise room, but the apartment has had some wear over the years. Also, as students, we do not have cable. The apartment will be much more comfortable than a hotel and is located only three blocks from the metro - Red, Green, and Yellow Lines. Luxurious new 3300 sq ft home on a quiet street surrounded by woods, hiking trails and a creek. 15 minute drive to downtown DC and a couple of minutes drive to the metro station. Walk half a block to a nature trail which follows sligo creek for an easy but beautiful hike.

The master bedroom has a king size 4 poster bed with en-suite bathroom and double shower head. 63" plasma TV's with tivo in the master bedroom and living room.

The guest room has a queen size bed with private bath and sitting room--all on the 3rd floor and very private. The music room has a drum set, various other instruments and a massage chair. Office with wireless internet, fax machine/printer.

On the first level there's a pool table, bathroom and washer/dryer.

The home is on an acre with a private spa in the backyard and large trampoline.
