Large international law firm seeks a Senior Technology Professional Development Specialist (Trainer) to provide training and support to end users and internal IS staff to improve their technical knowledge and skills related to supporting the firm’s strategic business goals. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, training personnel on the basic and advanced functions of the core and specialized legal applications used by the firm using such methods as online group and one-on-one training, in person group instruction, and demonstrations when necessary; customizing training programs as necessary for international office personnel; and providing technical direction and guidance to projects, as directed by Director of Training and Document Support Services, (both internal and external resources) to ensure that high quality, effective solutions are developed in accordance with established standards. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), Internet Explorer, document management systems, portal applications and operating systems used by the firm, the ability to use distance learning technologies to effectively deliver training, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant training experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services environment. MOS certification preferred.
