Looking for qualified network technicians that can assist on a work order basis taking care of troubleshooting network related issues. Technician will need to carry their own networking tools, laptop, and reliable transportation. Technician should be able to pass a background check and drug test. Rates will be negotiated after speaking and be paid on an hourly basis on a 1099.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works trouble work orders in accordance with Field Operations policies and procedures; upon completion or upon request, communicates status of work orders to Technical Support team
• Assist NOC to resolve property tickets/outages within SLA
• Resolves or escalates site issues or questions within the established and acceptable timeframe
• Maintains ownership of issues and follows through on all customer issues until those issues are properly closed.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Owns necessary tools to troubleshoot appropriate technology; contractor is set up for (data, video, or phone)
• Has necessary knowledge in said technology to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues found onsite
• Responds to telephone calls and emails within the established response standard
• Has at least 2 years of telecommunications field work
• Including, but not limited, to building and installing data infrastructures, satellite systems, cabling, phone systems/support, grounding, etc.
• Basic service level IT support for home, commercial, or offices
• Has strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Has superior Customer Service Skills: Professionalism, Soft Skills and Phone Etiquette
• BONUS: Has fiber knowledge, tools, and repair
