About:
Ιxito Marketing & Communications is a consulting firm that
accelerates the mission of socially responsible small
businesses and non-profit organizations that seek to
positively benefit the US Latino community and people living
in Latin America.
We seek a part-time, unpaid intern for summer and fall 2008. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in public relations or related field and in their junior / senior year of college.
Responsibilities include:
Generating media / contact lists
Conducting research
Making pitch calls
Editing reports and other documents
Writing press releases
Planning events
Intern may work from home or other location, as long as long-distance phone and Internet access is available. Hours are flexible. Projects and clients may change. Intern should be cordial, organized, flexible, good with details, have good writing skills. Must possess professional phone skills and be proficient in MS Word / Excel.
