WEB DEVELOPER
An Old Town Alexandria interactive agency is seeking a Web Developer to join its growing, tight-knit team. The ideal candidate is fluent in all current technologies.
Duties to be assigned:
• Construct, develop and maintain usable web applications using a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Maintaining existing custom-built content-management system and developing new features
• Deploying websites using 3rd party content management tools
• Develop and maintain SQL and MSSQL Databases
• Manage and update domain names, including mail records
• Provide support as needed to technical team
Job Requirements:
• Candidate must have 1-3 work years experience with web development technologies
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in software including Adobe Creative Suite 3 - Design Premium and various FTP clients
• Experience managing domain name and server configuration
• Familiarity with ASP as well as SQL and MSSQL database platforms
Ideal candidates would:
• Independently manage and track time spent on projects and tasks
• Have interest in latest technologies, web software, videos, or photography
• Have CSS/XHTML and/or Flash/ActionScript capabilities
