Flash/Flex Developer - Full Time Position (non-contract)
Working as part of our public web site team at a large organization to build Flash/Flex based projects. We offer an excellent work environment with a lot of talented designers and programmers to learn from and collaborate with, but your role will be to lead Flash/Flex projects. This is a chance to work on a number of challenging and rewarding public-facing web projects.
Job Description and Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in web design/development techniques. Demonstrated experience coding solid, clean designs in HTML, ASP, .Net. Proficient in CSS and table-less site markup. Highly proficient in Adobe CS3 products – Flash, Fireworks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE: 1-3 years experience building highly efficient, dynamic, data driven, scalable browser based UIs and RIAs within the flash environment. Proven experience and knowledge of object-oriented development languages such as .Net, AS 3.0, Flex Builder 3, and JavaScript. Proven ability to create and output complex interactive components for Flash applications. Experience developing accessible (508 Compliant) applications/components. Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS). Experience with Flex 3 charting components, creating custom actionScript components and item renderers, Cairngorm or other MVC frameworks for flex applications, working with XML and flashVars, Flex CSS and skinning.
