Technical Documentation Specialist (TDS)
Four (4) or more years of experience in business analysis, documentation and project implementation with an eye for detail of layout and style within word processors and via display for the web. Emphasis on strong written and verbal communication skills, previous experience in the production of user-guides, help authoring tools (such as AuthorIT or RoboHelp), and technical document templates is essential coupled with an intermediate understanding of Microsoft products, especially Word.
Experience in producing technical materials for web-based technologies, excellent attention to detail, and flexibility. Be able to translate materials, provided by content owners, into high-quality technical and user-based documentation for publication to internal customers. Must have at least four (4) years of demonstrated experience using graphics and other programs to create images, image maps, charts, and representations of data with hyperlinks to convey the message of the content.
Must have knowledge and expertise using AuthorIT –at least (2) years OR knowledge and expertise using Content Management Software – at least four (4) years (includes RoboHelp). Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excell, Outlook), Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Must have some knowledge of HTML and/or CSS.
