Given our limited space we can't keep all of it (clothes, toys, misc) in our home forever. Limited time prevents us from keeping up with the advertising/photographing/meeting people/etc. to sell it, and our finances don't put us in a position of being able to just donate it all once she outgrows it.

First impression was great, but weird at the same time the person who runs the daycare kinda pushes me to sign the contract, telling me that it was the last opening (She told and did that with two friends of mine.) She told me about her great program and that every week end parents will received homework via email. I never received any homework . The place is neat , but I think that the money they ask for the service they provide is way too much. The kids stay home all day long, and do not get the chance to go outside(even in the backyard ) I do not know how you feel as parents, but thinking that your child does not do what is written on the schedule is really sad. Usually when a person picks up his child from the daycare, he can defenitly see that kids had activity during the day (clothe with some painting crayon ect...) What surprise me is that when i pick up my child in the evening she is so clean that i wonder if she moved or had snacks during the day. Also, after 5.30 pm each minute cost a $ (too bad if you are stuck in the traffic.) Furthermore, parents have to be present for outdoors activity, picnics, etc... (what is the point to pay a daycare if you have to miss work to entertain your child and help them at what they are paid for.) Moreover, the daycare close at 5.30 pm, and the child are supposed to play until then. Apparently not because when i pick up my child around five all the kids are ready to leave and wait next to the door. It really seems like they want to get rid off the kids as soon as possible. I'm really dissapointed and i wanted to share my experience with you.

The Au Pair Program was set up for an Education and Cultural Exchange with SOME child care. While no one was watching they grew from a controlled Non Profit Company to large NON PROFIT MASS MARKETING OF YOUNG PEOPLE FOR CHILD CARE AT ALMOST SLAVE WAGES.....

It went from a few thousand Au Pairs brought in yearly to thousanda nad thousands, many of which leave the program because they come to this country thinking they are here for Education and Cultural Exchange only to find the families think they are here for work 45 flexible hours, nights, weekend and while the parents are at work. That ads up to more then the 45 hours....
Homeland Security does noting when they leave the program.

Most important this program was not set up to take jobs away from people here in this country who want and need these jobs. With unemployment as high as it is, they are taking jobs from people who want and need the jobs, and who are very qualified.
