I'm selling my 1984 Nighthawk. This bike is reliable transportation; I drove it to work for several months and also took it on adventures to Shenandoah National Park. It's fun to drive as well. This motorcycle is suitable for someone who is looking to use it as a daily commuter, for trips, or for occasional rides. The bike's paint shows it's 25 year history, thus it's not worth spending time waxing it. It will soon need its rear tire replaced. Second gear slips out of gear into neutral when accelerating above 4,000 rpms. I've found it best to refrain from using second gear by shifting through it into third. The cycle's inline-four cylinder engine has robust power and compression that accommodates this second gear issue. All other gears work properly as does the clutch. The primary reason I'm selling this is that I own two Nighthawks and no longer wish to maintain both of them. The bike has just over 30,000 miles, comes with a clear title, an is being sold as-is. The sale will include a set of new, front brake pads. Buyer will need to pay me $800 cash, and I will subsequently provide a bill of sale. This cycle is ready to be ridden!

The only thing wrong with it is a couple of scratches on the gas tank from a tank bag.

The bike currently has Approx. 21,000 miles which is not bad for its age. It runs/rides like a dream but I need to make some room. Title is clean, clear, and in hand.
