Detecto's "legal for trade" Price Computing Scales feature a brilliant red display that shows weight, unit price and total price simultaneously on each side of the scale to both operator and customer. Other features include 99 programmable preset prices which are retained in memory when power to the scale is turned off, an RS-232 serial port for connection to a label printer, and customized printing features including "Packed on" or "Sell by" dates. • Shelf life days for pre-packed items. Example: As seen on the label, if you assign a shelf life of 3 days to Ground Chuck, the label will include the packed-on date, the sell-by date, and the time of day it is was packaged.
• Assign tare weights to each individual PLU for different packaging containers.
• Sell by each mode allows you to program a PLU for pricing of items not sold by weight, but sold by each.
