Position Summary:
The Sr. Contracts Administrator shall perform all duties of contract administration in the preparation of proposals, the negotiation of contracts and the administration of commercial and government contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Key responsibilities will include Teaming Agreements and NDA preparation, Consulting agreements, Contract modifications, Proposal strategy/Pricing participation, Correspondence and Deliverable monitoring.
Position Responsibilities
• Negotiates contract terms from proposal stage to project close-out in accordance with contract terms and conditions and regulatory guidance
• Monitors contract funding levels, Option year renewals, Wage Determination issues and other contractual requirements
• Provides recommendations and guidance of all contractual requirements to Divisional management representatives
• Coordinates the review and approval of contract terms, directs the negotiation process and manages subcontractor interface with management staff
• Works with project staff to ensure monthly technical reporting and deliverable requirements are fulfilled
• Reviews solicitation requests and assembles/coordinates corporate response team to ensure compliance with submittal terms and conditions
• Participates in cost proposal development including pricing and scheduling details, coordination of corporate resources and development of corporate bidding profile and risk assessment
• Instrumental in the development and implementation of internal contracts policy
• Manages initiation and documentation of new Contracts and Task Orders as a liaison with the Accounting Department personnel
• Ensure that all contractual deliverables are received by program managers and subcontractors and distributed to appropriate persons.
• Prepare modifications and task order issuances to subcontracts.
Skills/Knowledge
• Knowledge of relevant legal guidance, terms, conditions, and policies governing contract management including FAR/DFAR/GSA Schedules
• Knowledge of various contract types including T&M, FP and CPFF forms
• Some cost proposal preparation experience would be helpful
• Prior Service Contract Act and Wage Determination exposure would be beneficial
• Deltek system experience a plus
• Effective organizational and communication skills to act as company representative required
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills
Education/Experience Requirements
• BS Degree in Business or related field
• 6-10 years related experience in Federal Government contracting including interface responsibility with consultants and subcontractors
