Resident Manager/Montgomery County
DC medical non-profit seeks resident manager to oversee activities at their live-in facility. Provide operations and emotional support to children and their families. Recruit, train and supervise part-time employees. Responsible for risk management, emergency preparedness. This is working with a diverse clientele. Opportunity to really make a difference in people’s lives. Must be empathetic, willing to listen. Provide leadership. Be proactive and diplomatic. Must have excellent customer service skills. Experience in family services, hospital or social work preferred. Experience with property or residence management preferred. Experience working with families in hospitals or therapeutic setting is required as is the ability and willingness to comfort people in the midst of personal crisis. Must be team oriented. Will be in frequent communication with facilities director and social workers. Supervisory experience required. Spanish preferred. Social workers encouraged to apply. Position comes with private apartment. Hours are 7 pm – 7 am, Wed, Thurs and Friday. Salary to $45K.
