A mid-sized advisory firm located in Rockville, Maryland has an excellent opportunity for an organized, motivated, detail-oriented, human resource professional. Our Company provides a full range of HR services and ensures that HR policies and procedures comply with federal laws. We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team to work with clients in the MD, and DC area.

Duties and Desired Skills:
-Maintain personnel files and HR database
-Assist in Recruiting Duties
-Assist with new hire process and coordinate new hire orientations
-Organize and track employee training programs
-Write, update, and post job descriptions and openings
-Assist with benefit administration, including enrollments, status changes and terminations
-Contribute to improvements in employee satisfaction
-Assit in the administration of HR policies and procedures
-Responsible for new hire and termination processing
-Payroll duties

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of experience
-Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
-Knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws
-Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
-Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
-Strong organizational and customer service skills
-Experience in managing multiple tasks while maintaining timeliness, accuracy and strong attention to detail.
-Willingness to learn and grow.
