Are you an organizational wizard, capable of taking information from three departments and weaving it together into an excellent shipping experience for our customer?
Gaithersburg-based, online retailer of children’s party supplies seeks an individual to traffic orders from print queue through fulfillment. Duties include printing orders and prepping them for processing, reviewing customer comments, ensuring shipping commitments are met and packages arrive prior to party dates, monitoring stock issues, fulfilling backorders and guaranteeing that the correct ship method is selected for the package’s on-time arrival.
The ideal candidate is skilled at using a computer in a Windows environment, very detail-oriented, able to keep an eye on multiple tasks, orders, and interdepartmental communications simultaneously. Experience with FedEx Shipping Manager and Stamps.com software and tracking order fulfillment are a plus.
Ideal Candidate’s Qualities:
• Strong English/writing skills
• Must be organized, detailed and able to multi-task
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years experience working in a fulfillment department (ie: pick/pack)
This is a regular, full-time, non-exempt position.
