Music Marketing Internship (Washington, DC)
Here at RBR Media, we’re seeking highly motivated, creative interns for our new music management group that will use social media, conceptualized brands, and innovative ideas to provide effective marketing strategies for our artists. This is a great opportunity for undergrads, recent grads and self-starters to get in at the ground floor of a fresh organization with creative approaches to event planning and promotion, representing and producing music artists, branding and apparel, web management, photography and graphic design. Our affiliates include the Snatch Godwin Music Group, rap artists t.h.e.w.e.a.k. and Boi Genius and mixshow/mixtape ambassador DJ Dub.
Applicants with a strong interest or background in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: event planning, marketing, web design, photography, graphic design, fashion and music. No experience necessary, but some preferred. This position is unpaid, but interns may have free access to high profile events, fun resume building opportunities, and hands on experience with media
solutions.
Requirements:
-Strong social media skills (Twitter, Myspace, Bebo, Facebook, YouTube, Last.fm, Linkedin, Stumbleupon, etc) to help design and implement online marketing strategies.
-Project management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong computer skills.
-High standards of oral and written communications.
-Ability to work independently.
-Must be willing to take on various marketing tasks and assist at events
-Smartphone, Personal computer (laptop preferred).
-Web Design/writing skills a plus.
