Prepress/Preflight Technician
Complete technical understanding of offset printing along with toner based technologies. Abilities to include performing digital prepress inspection, preparation of PDF files for imposition processing, troubleshooting digital files and editing PDFs.
Must be proficient in both Mac and Windows based PC. Strong knowledge of the various desktop programs such as Adobe Indesign, QuarkXpress, Enfocus Pitstop.
Able to communicate in clear precise manner and written to internal and external clients. File organization skills are a must. Follow prescribed department workflow procedures. Willingness to work in a fast paced high quality, customer responsive department. A team player with potential for overtime as needed to meet client deadlines.
