Birthday in a Box, a rapidly growing, online retailer of award-winning children’s party supplies is seeking a Production Artist to join our Graphics Department. This position is based in our Gaithersburg, MD offices. THIS IS NOT A DESIGN POSITION.

Position Responsibilities:
• Use pre-designed templates to complete personalized products based on customer order specifications.
• Make minor alterations on a per-piece basis when needed to meet customer order needs.
• Proofread customer submitted personalization and make changes to grammar and text as needed.
• Provide digital proofs to customers as requested and work with customer service to update orders in which changes were requested.
• Process orders through system using company-wide order management system.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Will Exhibit:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer experience (including Illustrator) is a must
• Must be organized and detail oriented

This is a regular, non-exempt, part-time position with a possible status change to full-time in 2010. Please note: this is not a design position within our Graphics Department.
