Golden Shepherd Girl In Shelter Now Hoping For Home!! (Forestville, MD/DC area/pgamd)

I know it's not an actual breed, but this girl sure looks like a "Golden Shepherd"! She's only 1 year old and she's a female listed as a Golden Retreiver/German Shepherd Dog mix (ID#A289906) and she's now waiting at the Prince George's Animal Management Division shelter hoping to find a great permanent home. Come meet her in person soon...the shelter is open from 10-4 on Fridays and Saturdays!
Time is of the essence! If you are interested in a dog or cat, don’t wait, even a day or two may be too late—the dog may be gone or worse, euthanized!
I am an unaffiliated internet volunteer trying to help find homes for PG County pets. I don't have any direct information about this dog. Please contact the shelter for more information about her current availability (see info about hold times in summary/FAQ’s document, link above). They have so many animals looking for homes. Please consider giving a shelter dog or cat a chance. You do NOT need to be a Prince George’s County resident to adopt!
If you're interested in adopting check the latest information on the animal’s availability with the shelter at 301-499-8300 or 301-499-8301 although they are very busy and may not answer all calls. The most surefire way to get information or to adopt is to go check out the animals in person and talk to the staff. Email is NOT the way to get information about a specific pet! Shelter hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10-4, Wednesdays from 11:30-7:30, closed Sundays, Thursdays and holidays.
