To President Bush and Congress - Protect our borders, not Iraq's
I am changing my views on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Too many of our guys are getting killed and President Bush disappoints me.
We are allegedly over there to prevent terrorism and protect our shores, yet 20 million people sneaked across our borders. Makes no sense to me. The Bushes’ and the Clintons’ views are contradictory; they preach secure borders yet want to reward those that jumped our borders with amnesty.
Most of our politicians have swallowed the amnesty poison pill that is killing our country. Congress, the Bushes, the Clintons and Obama all disrespect our law-abiding residents by rewarding illegal immigrants once again with amnesty. I thought it was a one-time thing under Reagan. After our Congress weakens at the knees again, how soon before another 20 million cross our borders?
I will probably vote for Ralph Nader as a protest vote against the Democrat and Republican parties who are spitting on our law, culture, country, and flag by rewarding law-breaking, border-jumping malcontents with amnesty. These immigrants are arriving so fast because of our porous borders, that they cannot learn our language fast enough so our poison pill addicted political leaders make it even easier for them by putting everything in Espanol. Check the White House webpage, your governor’s web page, and your local Congressman’s webpage. Alaska to Florida, I’ll bet without looking, and Maine to California. Everyone has overdosed on the “Amnesty Poison Pill.”
The issue is not about caring for the poor, tired masses that came to Ellis Island “LEGALLY.” This is about the law and respect for the law. If Congress and the president and the president “wanna-be’s” don’t understand this, we are doomed as a nation.
The Obama, Clintons, and McCain are all supporting President Bush's failed policy on solving the illegal immigrant problem: amnesty for breaking the law. All three candidates just pretend they care about the disadvantaged illegal immigrant but do nothing to the countries that don't care for their own. Not fair! We need a president that cares about the law-abiding residents in this country who are paying the bills! Please…all you politicians: support the people who support our laws, not those too lazy to even learn our language.
I say we get out of the Middle East and shore up our borders. Just arm Israel and let them go to town; at least they protect their borders unlike what President Bush and our Democratic Congress cannot do.
President Bush disgusts me when he sent our tax money to Lebanon, which is run by the terrorist group Hezbollah. So, yes, I don't trust President Bush because he is AIDING terrorists by funding them.
These thoughts are poignant so I am going to send an email to President Bush and I will post on Craig's List in Washington D.C. on the politics page.
Feel free anyone to post to your communities, send to your Congressman, mail to your local newspaper “Letters to the Editor” page, and let your family and friends know too.
Don’t forget to inform your local politicians, as they will surely be the next wave into Congress rooting for the amnesty poison pill for America!
