We are currently looking for retail management candidates for our Terrapin Team Shop at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Responsibilities
• Attain sales and profitability goals of the store
• Create an environment that inspires repeat customers and retains top sales associates
• Maximize store performance through motivation, support, communication and training
• Develops creative ideas to drive sales through merchandising and visual displays
• Supervise the daily operations of the store
• Uses corporate tools to evaluate stock levels and the need to reallocate product between locations
• Assist the General Manager with sport specific events
Job Requirements
• Minimum 1-2 years of retail management
• Customer centric
• Must be able to work retail hours, including nights and weekends
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Demonstrated excellent leadership, time management and customer service skills
• Flexible and adaptive to fast paced environment, changes, challenges, job duties and work schedules
