Seeking an energetic person to handle all retail sales responsibilities of boutique cookie shop in Bethesda. Must be available Tuesday - Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm and Saturdays 9:00am-5:30pm. Guaranteed 35 hrs per week and possibly holiday overtime. Please read job requirements below.
Responsibilities include:
Answering phones/taking orders
Cookie basket assembly
Preparing cookie orders for pick-up/delivery and shipping
Operating cash register/credit card processor
Stocking cookie/retail and shipping supplies
Assist with daily cleaning responsibilities
Maintaining clean work environment
Processing web orders
What you must offer us:
At least 30 hrs./week
Must be available to work Saturdays 9am-5pm
Available for Weekday shifts M-F : morning shift 8am-2pm and/or evening shift 12pm-6:30pm.
Outgoing, friendly personality – enjoy working with the public - A GO GETTER!
Prior retail/register experience preferred.
EXCELLENT communication skills and common sense.
Ability to pay attention to detail
Must be a team player
Ability to prioritize tasks
Able to work on your feet 90% of the time
Computer savvy
