If you have a track record of success Network Defense and Intrusion Detection, a dedicated technical background and a total of 7 years of experience in IT, we would love to hear from you. Position located in Dorsey Park, MD.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Manage security events and report all cyber related activity, vulnerability, risk management.


• Report, analyze and audit security related information impacting networks, systems, or personnel.


• Serve as Point of Contact for DoD and Federal Computer Network Defense and Incident Response Centers in maintaining understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits that could impact networks and assets.


• Establish process and disseminate information relating to security logs, audits and outage information and also interpreting events and incidents across networks.


• Create, maintain, and publish Standard Operating Procedures.


• Participate in cyber related exercises and forums; document, record, and maintain reports for future reference and continued organizational enhancement.


• Review commercial, Federal and DOD related sites and portals for threat, vulnerability notifications and documentation.


• Participate in external forums, workshops, and ad hoc meetings as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of IT experience, 2 of which dedicated to Intrusion Detection and Computer Network Defenses or other vulnerability disciplines.


• Bachelor’s degree in related field and one of the following certifications: CISSP, SCNA, GISO, GSE.

• This position supports the Federal Government and does require a TS/SCI clearance.
