Sr Content Management & Search Architect:
Successful candidate will help us prepare a proposal for one of our clients and also join a team to provide the content and search management roadmap to our client.
Position Summary
The Content Management & Search Architect is regarded as a thought contributor and evangelist, within the Portals, presentation and content domain, who participates directly in the enablement and advancement of content and search related business capabilities at PG&E.
Responsibilities
Accountable for the development and maintenance of all digital content and search related technical standards, design patterns and reference architectures.
Support Client Portfolio Managers (CPM's) and Business Solution Architects (BSA's) to provide IT solutions to meet business capabilities that are consistent with Enterprise Standards, Architectures and Strategies.
Works individually and collectively with portal, presentation and content stakeholders to ensure that Technical Standards, Reference Architectures, Design Patterns are consistent with stakeholder Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and all underlying architectural strategies.
Works individually and collectively with other enterprise domain architects to ensure breadth and granularity of strategies, standards and reference architectures are consistent and well integrated across enterprise architecture domains and roadmaps.
Collaborates and provides guidance to various Center-of-Excellence (COE) teams within PG&E
Works with Center of Expertise (COE) leads for Portal and Presentation, SAP and Business Intelligence to ensure they are kept current on content and search technology developments, trends and practices and new business initiatives.
Works closely with several line of business stakeholders, including Online Communications, to ensure they are kept current on content and search technology developments, trends and practices to provide ongoing support in their new business initiatives
Works with the Project Management Organization (PMO) to support the Information Technology Governance process that help ensure Business IT initiatives comply with the Enterprise Architecture Standards, Strategies and Roadmaps.
Processes and technologies supporting the acquisition, filtering, organization and access control of all digital and paper based information.
Application of search technology to digital information within PG&E to index content from a variety of sources such as (but not limited to): file systems, intranets, document management systems, e-mail and databases.
Application of search technology to support business capabilities in which PG&E electronic data is sought, located, secured, and searched to support regulatory, compliance and other legal discovery activities.
Processes and technologies to comprehensively manage the flow of PG&E's data and associated metadata from creation and initial storage up until it is obsolete and is deleted.
