The Business Objects Architect leads all aspects of the delivery of Distribution Sector Business Intelligence (BI) solution & related components: interfaces, conversions, HW/SW oversight. Understands business challenges & translates them into requirements/solutions.
Successful candidate will help us prepare a proposal for one of our clients and also join a team to provide the Business Intelligence Strategy to our client.
Provides Solution Performance (analysis/tuning) & works across business/technology teams to ensure alignment between business solution definition & systems architecture for the organization.
Demonstrated experience designing, developing and implementing complex Business Objects solutions.
Must have Tier 1 consulting background as a permanent Manager or Lead Architect
Must have at least 5 years of BOBJ and 3 full life cycle implementations of Business Objects
* Must have 2 years of SAP BI implementation experience
* At least 2 years of SAP BI implementation experience using formal methodologies
* Enterprise BI Strategy and development experience
* Data warehouse, Operation Data Store, Master data management and Business intelligence
platforms working experience.
* Exposure to Data services layer and BI services
* Knowledge on Business intelligence tools like SAP BI, Business objects, Cognos, SAS is a plus.
At least 1 year experience in team leadership
Must have excellent communication and client facing skills
